Oral cancer incidence in India is among the highest in the world. Social & Economic constraints prevent patient referral to oncocare in specialized centers and hinder diagnosis at an early stage. The patients reporting to a practicing surgeon come with very advanced lesions. Treatment of 
these lesions in the oral cavity poses a significant challenge to the operating surgeonThere is a great need for training of these Surgeons. Training not only for Surgical techniques but for the knowledge of comprehensive oral cancer treatment. This conference is directed to update and inform Postgraduates & practicing surgeons in oral cancer management. Our aim is to see that practicing surgeons know the basics of management and are able to handle some of the cases by themselves. We would also encourage young surgeons to take up oncology as their career.
This is the second international conference being conducted at out institute & we plan to have a very renowned faculty to ensure that the sessions are very informative & eductative.
